So it appears that they made some changes tonight with the Hydra fight. They have introduced a new Call to Arms Siege Weapon called last stand and it takes 500 people to activate. Thats a lot of link clicking. Posting on the Castle Age Hydra Group made things easier, until I got banned for "spamming" links on the groups wall. Currently at 300 links down with 200 to go! I'll post damage done as soon as I find out.

Also… I noticed they must have lowered Hydras defense. I was hitting roughly 5,300 before but now I am hitting her for about 6800. Nice change! This should help speed up our kill nicely!

They Keep Changing the beast!

I am now doing 11k Damage when before I was doing 3-4k Damage, and that was before the change that you are talking about.

I wish that They would get it finalized so you don't have to keep changing the monster page…at least once every 12 hours!

The Last Stand doesn't take that many people and the more you have in your Elite Guard (higher levels help) the more dmg you make.

Yes, we updated the site as soon as we knew more, and then it was changed again and updated here again. It is better to not have to get 500 people, but we did it for our hydra that we killed, if you take a look at the monster page, under hydra you can see the damage that we compiled for it. It was not an easy monster I will tell you that. To get the 500 people to click, that was even more difficult. I am glad they took it down to 300 but that's seeming to be difficult to get even now, on other people's hydras.

Now with the ever increasing amounts of 'hydra killing' groups, it's getting even more silly, we should only have one, makes life easy, but no one ever said life was going to be easy.

How long does it take to logs Hydra kills on the achievement page? It hasnt shown up yet on my achievements and i had the top damage score?

There is a minimum ammount of damage you must deal to get credit for the kill for your achievements

what is the minimum damage to get counted on the epic chance drops and the rare chance drops?
is there any minimum damage for the defense and attack for the said chance drops?

How much damage had you to do to your Hydra to get a gold medal? I am constantly trying and am not even gettin a bronze one.

lucy getting medals is not based off how much damage you do to a monster it only applies to achievements. If you want that gold medal you have to kill the monster as fast as possible time is very crucial when it comes to determining what type of medal you'll get :)

Actually Clint, it does matter how much damage you have, as well as finishing it within 24 hours. If you don't meet the minimum damage, but beat the monster in 24 hours, you won't get a gold medal.

okay, well it looks like I failed again, I can't believe that there are so many stupid people out there, 5 of them did nothing just tagged, when I asked for serious players only, also wrote that it's for quest or achievement.. :( This is imba.. and I used up 10fps for nothing -.-

sorry mhm i didn't see your link till just now anyways there's a new feature in castleage "Guilds" so far it's just castleage way to communicate with fellow CA players more faster and efficient. But we'll just have to check up on that more if anyone has a guild for active players please invite me. And i hope mhm or goatherd would make one, i'll be happy to join :)

too bad i'm already part of a guild and it seems there's a rule of one guild per person you cannot join another guild once you already joined one, but there is an option there control panel tab in the guild, where it asks you if you want to leave this guild but i'll think about it, i wonder what acheivemnts is possible there.

maybe it could be experience farmed by guild members around 2million or so :p there could also be achievements like achieving 100 or more members, but that could lead to abusiveness. I can't wait to see how the guild turns out :)

Clint, ask the leader to add me and send me an invite I can write in one of your games if you give me link, then he can reach me via that, btw I ofc failed to get Gold Medal, so it was a very bad idea to spend 10fp for a level up.. :P
