For Armor - the Dreadnaught Plate also gives you a +15 damage, but you lose it when you "invite" Keira to join your army. I'm currently looking for another plate to replace the one I lost…

The Best-in-game armor set is not up to date as I have a better Armor right now with better stats…The armor im using is: Bloodlord Plate [+26atk, +14def]!!!! This is obtained through the vinnie monster battles…

is there any way to influence getting the special drops from each of the 4 dragons?
Yes, the game states this:
"The more total damage you do to the monster, the better chance you will have to get better rewards. Keep in mind the faster you kill the monster, the better chance you will have to get better rewards"
Damage and Speed influence it but in the end it is still chance.
Yes, it depends on luck. I've made 2,9 million damage to a Lotus, and I've got only one special item, a Demonic Mask. All the other rewards were useless crap. :-(
It appears you can get a 'best' item from all the demi's except Corvintheus… so what's his benefit?
Corvintheus has the best "defending" armor… the overall stats are the same then the moonfall robe but with a 5 points moved from attack to defense. Hving both you'll use the moonfall when attacking and the corvintheus when defending. that's it ;-)
how do we change our armors for defending and attacking? i only know how to change the generals.. but not sure abt the armors.. :S
Isn't the Blade of Vengeance the best defending weapon at 15 instead of the Berserker Axe at 13?
Blade of Vengeance has combined stats of 32, while Berserker Axe has 33. I believe the higher combined stat item gets used, regardless of higher attack or defense stats.
In the case of Moonfall Robes and Lionheart Plate, they both have combined stats of 35. That's why Lionheart Plate gets used instead of Moonfall Robes when defending.
Atlantean shield replaces Tempest Storm on defense. +10/+17
Is it better to hold onto the Atlantean Gauntlet or make the Atlantean Shield? I don't have the Lotus' Glove or the tempest storm.

And the best spell should be Phantasm from Vanguard Treasure Chest : 14/14 (Total 28) vs Tempest :17/10 and Forcefield : 10/17 (Total 27)

first of all the calculations are not made attk+def
it's attk + 0.7* def
so even if phantasm it would be a spell it has 23.8
tempest has 24
and atlantean has 21.4
this is from attacker point of view which i think it counts the most.

@delexann There is no set damage limit for any drop. So long as you do enough damage to get an epic, it could be the Deathtouch Gauntlet. If you do enough damage to get the max number of epics a boss drops, you get that many more chances to get the epic drop you want.
Speaking for myself, the Deathtouch Gauntlet dropped at less than 500k damage (can't recall the number, it's been many weeks), back when I was 85ish with some 50 stamina or so.
I agree with the damage requirement. doesnt seem to matter. but recently i was in 3 skaar's same time. did like 485k one battle 396k other battle 507 another. the one i did 507k just happens to be last battle i joined and had some power hitters and they killed it before the other 2 died. so i think the quick kill majorly factored. got my deathplate from that.
I did 4,000,000 dmg. which was the best for my level range (60-90). I'm lvl 85.
I got 2 deathrune hellplates.
Well, my gear isnt all that swell, but i almost got the dragon helm, i barely missed anything, i need lotus gloves, i have excalibur, so genesis isnt THAT much of a rush, i got the ragnarok spell for my other account (and he was lvl 27 LOL), and that deathrune armor, i will be done with that :P

Is Holy Plate (18 attack/20 defence) the best armor for BOTH defending and attacking since it has 3 more stat points than Moonfall Robes and Lionheart Plate?
Blade of Vengeance has a higher defence than Berserker Axe, but it seems that the Berserker Axe gets used in both attacking and defending. There's only a single stat point difference between both weapons, so I thought the same would apply for the Holy Plate being the best armor in-game although the Lionheart Plate would be best for defending.
Yes. Holy plate is now best armor over both with a total of 38 points.
