One of the hydras I was fighting was still alive after Last Stand and died by a person's attack, so it gives a closer HP estimate, though there is probably some variation between hydras. The total amount of damage from attacks and siege weapons was 125,060,908. The last person to hit the hydra did 10,399 dmg (so the actual HP might be as low as 125,050,510). Also, the number of assists for the siege weapons has probably changed since the section above was written. In this particular battle 2 days ago, the number of assists we needed were Catapult 10, Ballista 20, Cannons 40, Blizzard 80, Firestorm 150, Last Stand 300. Last Stand did ~30% (30.0013814%) of the damage, an interestingly round number that is probably useful to remember.
Max player allowed for Hydra is 130. Level 90+ (30). Level 60-90 (30). Level 30-60 (30). Level 1-30 (40)
With new update, the general with higher attack deals more damage, also player attack is added(including general bonuses)
FYI, my lvl 3 Zarevok does more damage than my lvl 4 Stone Guardian.
What happens to your hydras that you have created through alchemy? Do they help in battles?
Yes. They are a pretty sweet unit to have as well. :-)
I've been experimenting on World Hydras and generals to see if there's any difference. So far, there's not enough of a difference to care. I've had hit where a lvl 1 Penelope has hit higher than a lvl 12 Celesta. It has more to do with your units in your army than your general.
IDK. I am still getting robbed of credit.. I am still doing low amt of damage. well do you really have an edge if you have cronus in ur unit?
It would be nice to know how much damage is required to earn an Epic drop. What is the max number of Epic drop that can be obtain from one Hydra fight? At what damage amount would give you the max number of Epic drops? Answer to any of these questions would be appreciated. Thanks
is it possible to defeat cronus with just one player?
If you're willing to spend the money to get enough favor points for refills, absolutely. Otherwise no, not yet. The most I've seen one person do is 17 million; personally I've only done 10 million.
yea, screw that spending money thing. what level are you?
I'm level 182. An army mate of mine is level 569. I've seen him do 39 million.
if you average 310174 damage every hit on cronus, you can defeat him by yourself in 168 hours. pending he has exactly 125,000,000 health. this of course does not take into account leveling and extra stamina drops and the fluctuating damage amount and criticals. of course you cannot let your stamina reach max and not attack. it takes 1 hr to get 12 stamina…figure out how much down time you can have with your stamina amount.
and youre not even counting critixals and levling from the xp gain (wich also provides a complete stamnia refresh) woch you indead mentiod it would be posibal if you were a decent power and viglent

a hydra linkl if one feels like helping
Jep, quite pissed out now.
finished just one hell of a cronus making about 6mil damage to it. The loot? Pretty much the same than couple earlier witch I made around 800,000 damage.
No way I'm going to any more spend my precious stamina to make a lot of damage if moderate will make the same. At least according to the loot. Rare loots about same quantity an no epic as we speak.
My opinion for the tactics at least in case of cronus is to join as many moster as to possible to make around 600,000 to 900,000 dmg each. Cause for example fife cronus at 600,000 dmg made each produces much greater loot including epics than one cronus at 3mil damage (same stamina consumed).
I have to agree. I have got same experience. And it was not only with Cronus but with Dragons, Lotus etc. too. I have made damage worth half of the life of monster (dragons, Keira, Sea Serpents, about 4 mils to Cronus) and my loot was couple of demi points and very common items. On contrary, I have done damage just above the limit to count monster to my achievements or sometimes not even that and I have been rewarded by great staff. I would say that generally my experience is that less damage you do, better loot you will get. We have killed Frost dragon (7 people) in less then 2 hrs, everybody has done damage around 200K and we have let the summoner to finish it and the loot was total rubbish.
I would be grateful for any advice what is the best way to get the best loot.
Well then, you two must have just been incredibly unlucky. I haven't had a monster where I don't get at least one Epic item in I can't remember how long, and I always focus on one monster at a time. With the dragons I get up to 3 favor points a battle too, for doing around 1 million damage.
I have to disagree there. I got ALOT more than twice the loots when I solo emerald dragon compare to when I fought it will a friend (and we deals equal damage to the dragon)
damage actually just increases the quantity of items you possibly might get, it doesn't increase the chances of getting better items. But since it does increase how many items you'll get, it does somehow improve the item drop by a small margin since it increases quantity and not quality of items received. :)
once i had dealt just over the required amount of damege to a serpphent and my freind had killed the rest of it we got about the same equitment but i got a sky sankurary he just got a market place
I agree, I do think the most important is your rank you have depending on your lvl. If are lvl 75 you are 60 to 90 category. If you are the one who does the more damage in that category you will receive the best loot no matter the damage. I made 3 million damage and I got barely nothing because I was tanking 3rd in my category. But I've received 1 epic loot and 3 rare loot by being 1st and making only 1 million damage.
If you look closely enough you can see that there are 6 necks coming from the body of Cronus. Where is the remaining head? What is it's name? Is it Frank? Is it an alcoholic and the reason why it is not attacking the army? I have questions that are not being answered by that picture. The artist should have edited his work in anticipation of someone like me coming along to critique it.
It is coming out of the top of the body, the neck goes out of the frame right in the middle of the top of the picture. It has the same ridges along the back just like another neck
