not true. took it out with 2 people and i didn't get a map piece…gayness
Atlantean Shield isn't listed as one of it's epic drops.
Yeah, and sword of the sea is an epic and a rare slot O_o
Just to let you know, you no longer need the trident to summon serpents
is it possible to kill these guys solo or is it pretty much required to have a group?
yes, it is very very possible to kill it solo, event sapphire and amethyst. You can kill it solo. But there is no much benefit on that, the best grup for the first 3 serpent is around 3/4 person. The loot drop just the same as u solo. IMHO
and then is there a minimum amount of damage you need to do to be able to get any loot?
Technically yes. If you hit 500 dmg, you probably won't get anything, literally, not even the random crap drops. The minimum damage differs for each type. Hit around 200k and it should give you something decent. Hit 1 mil, you'll get an epic 100%. Not sure for two epics but I did 2mil dmg/ 1 mil def on an amethyst and got two epics.
Just solo or 2 the emerald, it's too easy to kill. 3/4 the sapphire, 5/6 amethyst. It's better to not have too many attackers.
My opinion, u do damage aroun 1 Mil, eventhough u can do 500K and stil get epic, but the point is, the higher the damage u've done the better the chance to get epic
Well, I did more with a lvl 2 Vanquish than a lvl 3 Celesta…

But I do more health fortifying with Celesta than Vanquish.

So yeah. What's the problem?…
Vanquish gives you attack bonus while Celesta gives you defense bonus.
Naturally, you would have done more dmg with Vanquish than Celesta.
Fortifying is based mostly on your defense stats, since Vanquish actually DECREASES your defense while Celesta INCREASES defense, you would fortify for a lot more with Celesta.
I hit 1.2mil damage on this thing and got 3 Moonfall Crowns, a Gift Phoenix, a Gift Dragon, a Rune Axe, Atlantean Map Piece 4 of 4 and a Sword of the Sea o_o.
Didn't see anyone mention these, so thought I would. After soloing this fight, I received these items (among other things of course):
Willow Wisp - 4 attack, 4 defense
War Bear - 5 atk, 4 def
Spartan Helm - 1 atk, 1 def
Fire Elemental - 8 atk, 5 def
Is the reason these items aren't listed because they're common? Now that I think about it, none of them look all that special…
On an unrelated note, my epics were two Atlantean Shields o_O
hmm well the shields aren't too bad i hate my luck killed 2 emeralds mostly by myself and managed to get 6 swords of the sea -.- 4 off of one of them and not a map piece anywhere after 4 serpents
Has anyone heard of a trick concerning obtaining shields? I just read that a group strictly hitting for 200k for each attacker will get the best return on shields.. Is this experimental, or has someone already proven this? I see no comments anywhere concerning sweet spots. Help! Anyone
Ok.. maybe I am mistaken and its not shields, although WiKi says this is where you get them.. But Warriors is what I need to complete my Spartan Phalanx.. Any ideas for the sweet spot to get more for your bang?
