Dexter's Defense increases by 2 each level. So at level 2 he is 14/18, at 3 15/20, and at 4 16/22

yes use the buy links on the generals pages ont he wiki to get to the generals and their accompanying items, but if you clickont he links it will automatically purchase them without confirmation so you know.
Isnt celesta way better? even with his bought items? seems like only a nice addition to invasion, not an equpied general or any real help
He would be marginally better at monster defense than Celesta, but that's about it.
for his discription saying superhuman streangth he sure has low attack
i think that just means he has strength to resist alot of damage. Seriously the lores don't apply to heroes strength at all. Take for instance Aeris her lore states that she can bend reality with her own will, but i don't see her bending anything but your bank accounts. They should have made her lore aeris has the power to bend your taxes by being a tax accountant herself she can sneak your money into the bank for free. :)
