…no longer best in game. Arena changes that. But it's still a nice weapon.

Nice that Genesis is farmable…
I always use Slayer against a Monster for his %critical.. But I was doing some quests and my current Hero were Lilith and Riku, I forgot to change them and I attacked Genesis for about 17.500, next attack 17.600, third was 17.500 again… Then I switched to Zarevok just to see because I'd never done so much to Genesis, I attacked 5 times and there wasn't a time when I could go beyond 15.500… I switched to Slayer and he did about 16.000.
I know it's just 200 or something like that, but I think for GENESIS the best hero to use (if you only have the ones able for purchase) is Lilith and Rikku… Anyone experienced something like this with other Monsters?
Sort of. Test them against a LvL 4 Vanquish next time you can. I'd be interested to see who wins then…
I was just wondering…
When you want to create Medius you need:
3 genesis swords dropped by Genesis.. who also drops Items that benefit TERRA
3 frost bolts dropped by Ragnarok.. who also drops Items that benefir LILITH AND RIKU
Would it be that Genesis' weakness is Lilith and Rikku and Ragnarok's weakness is Terra?? just wondering… IDK I have to try.
BTW Vanquish?? I THINK she would do even LESS damage than Zarevok.. I mean, she lowers your defense.. but IDK, I'm just guessing
Just checked this:
Juani attacked Genesis, the Earth Elemental with a volley of arrows, hitting it for an UNGODLY amount of Damage[6028]! (Zarevok lvl4, no cleaver)
Juani's attack strikes Genesis, the Earth Elemental for an UNGODLY amount of Damage[6425]! (Lilith and Rikku lvl1, no items)
I know Vanquish lowers your defense but at least on Bahamut (only monster I've been able to test it on) I get better damage with her than Zarevok. I also get better defense out of Dante than Celesta on the same monster. I could swear this wasn't always the case but Bahamut is a new monster so I don't know why.
there is no such thing as weaknesses of monsters if there was genesis' weakness would be the element of water not ice
I know… but try it, Lilith and Rikku are the most damaging Hero against Genesis.. I don't think it's weaknesses on elements, I think certain Bosses are weak against certain Heros…
what it says on top funny if it's like (name) attack genesis for an UNGODLY amount of damage [21980]! it was super effective! (used edea)
