Cartigan LEVEL 1
His story is a tale of hope and aspiration… then tragedy, and despair. Cartigan was a mighty hero from the Land of Fire called the Savior. In the midst of a heated battle with a mighty demon, both he and foe were said to have clashed blades, and with a mighty flash, simply vanish into the wind.
16 Atta…ck
15 Defense
Special Ability:
While equipped, increases Player Attack by 1.
Cartigan is a general and the alchemy can be made only once. You need 3 of each item below to perform the alchemy:
Crystal of Lament 1 Attack 3 Defense
Soul Eater 4 Attack 5 Defense
Sword of the Faithless 7 Attack 7 Defense

Am I the only one who thinks it's an unuseful general?
Lol, not at all. but his attack and defence will be nice as just a plain extra general
What? no general is useless…An extra genaral against an invasion is allways welcome in my books, will also help with genarals such as malekus that will add 0.45 +attack per genaral…you obviously have no clue about the game..give it up and play something a little less complicated…Nab…
actually you are the noob. because you react before you get to understand his point. go blow yourself!!! he didn't say useless. he said unuseful. lemme see you equip him as your primary general when doing invasions and duel.
Right. There are generals with better stats and skills, and I think this is not so good to be a primary general. That's all.
time to calm down, right?
he is almost useless, like most *weekly* generals except someone like Slayer (if u dont have Lotus, sure)
but invading armies will like ANY general which u can get and stats almost doesnt matter - thats all
about who is noob and who not - it doesnt matter who is your primary general when doing invasions - best are taken (most times ALL are taken for invasions)
Actually it does matter what general you use in doing invasions. Some generals extend your limit to a certain point. Like Mephistopheles(extends army members to 541 when doing invasions) and Chase(extends army members to 521 when doing invasions). Equipping other generals will only give you a max of 501 army members when doing invasions. If you have a Mephistopheles or any other general who extends your army members when doing invasions, would you rather equip cartigan then? And if you are doing duels, would you rather use cartigan or keira? (if you already obtained her). My point is this… you don't have to be such a sour puss over things like this telling other people that you know more than them when you actually didn't stop and think for a sec what he really meant. cartigan is an average general. And I got no beef against him. But there are more other useful generals to use than him. that's all. As for Inemesis, don't act too almighty saying to others to play something a little less complicated when you can't even understand simple english.
Ok so i may of been a little harsh i appologise for that…But something classed as unuseful in my books = useless as its unuseful get my point!…There was no mention as it being "unuseful" as a primary it was just desribed as "unuseful" if it was pointed out as being "ususeful as a primary i may not of reacted the way i did…I do agree in the fact its is pretty unuseful as a primary general and should of been made slightly more powerful than Vanquish, making it a useful primary that doesn't require FP to purchase…But we all know if you want the best you got to spend some cash on FP…Personaly i got all the items without having to waste any energy on a completed quest, also got skill points while trying to get him…The fact that he is so easy to get (may as well been purchase from the heroes page) is a no wonder thats it just an extra stat general…I appreciate it for that & that alone…peace out…
Ok. I also want to apologize for my harsh words. What got into my nerves is your reaction to Ardena's post. pls in the future, understand first what the other one is saying before reacting to it in a harsh and unfashionable manner. That's all
I have a question of the usefulness of Cartigan. You lose a lot of equipment to summon him. Isn't better to keep you 3 swords during an invasion that one more general? I have a big army and a new general will be useful, but until I have a lot more equipment I prefer not to summon Cartigan
when you have better equips then i suggest you get him, i for one took him at once because i worked os hard to obtain him. Besides i think 1more hero taken to invasion has a bigger impact then those equips :) it's just preference i like more heroes it intimidates people invading. When you get alot of equips you should get him :)
cartigan is much more useful then these items also don't forget about wars where u use your best generals so now cartigan would be more useful to you then before to have on your team since he will improve your chances at wining wars
I'm changing everything I can on the Goblin Emporium, when I get enough high end equipment I might get Cartigan. I have a big army, so I get a better att/def during invasion with the equipment, but I have to consider Wars now, cartigan might be better than the generals that im using right now. thanks
I love Nightmare! but how did he get from soul caliber to castle age?
You find the parts by doing underworld quests.
When you do the quests in that zone you will get random events that will let you obtain these items for summoning.
Quick question for the knowledgeable,
Do the drops for creating this general drop randomly or do certain quests in Underworld drop certain pieces? I have been fighting the first three for a while now and have only received the amulet and arm guard. Do you have to do the last quest in that realm to receive the sword to summon him?
dr_bob if you look here you will find the list of random confirmed drops for the quests.
underworld
try the 5th,got all the swords from the fifth quest (last one before skaar)
Got the first sword from the 5th quest - Burning Gates, then did it until level 3 (spenting 100s of energy) and got nothing… then started on the first sub-quest of the 4th - Being Followed, and got 2 swords (almost) in a row.
Good luck!
