What's the minimum damage required per monster so that you can avail of the rewards and loot drops for the following monsters?
1) Mephistopheles
2) Azriel
If your not a "tagger", what does it matter? Most go into these battles and give their all. If you are just in them for the loot, (in my honest opinion) you are taking a space that could be used by a TRUE player. I am an admin on a small group, and we do closed group battles to keep people like this out. Sorry if this doesn't apply to you, but that's what it sounds like you are asking, and why.
i would like to kow that question, i go all out when attacking any monsters(killed more monsers of others than i have my own with most damage done ) but why when im levle 40 should i atack when i have nothing to gain?
I dunno, it's possible you might not achieve a high enough activity total to qualify for the best equipment, but I'd say the big battles are worth your while if you can get involved in successful battles started by others. You get a good return on your energy/stamina, you have a chance to get the current best equipment (at low levels, even the common items are good for you).
So, why not? Give it a shot and see if you like team battles :) If not, there's plenty to do fighting dragons and serpents and other things you can destroy by yourself.
With some of the more recent world monsters and bosses, like Alpha Mephisto, I've noticed that they seemed to have raised the cap on useful participation when it comes to loot. For example, when fighting the World Hydra there is little to no difference in loot between causing 1,000,000 damage and causing 10,000,000 damage. With Azariel, Alpha Mephisto, and some others, I've noticed a definite and significant difference between loot at 1,000,000 damage and at 2m or 3m, at least, probably even a little more. Haven't tested it extensively, yet.
I'm almost level 90 and I enjoy attacking monsters for the fun and achievement of killing them as well as getting some good loot. But if I start attacking a monster and then i realize that it has 90% health and 60hrs left i just go battle something else. I mean it makes no sense to waste my stamina/energy on something that wont get killed.
Also if the monster isnt something epic and i've done enough damage to get some good loot and the monster looks like its going to die without my help i go fight a bigger monster that needs my help more.
Is alpha mephistopheles really +600 mil??
If you are level 40, it's kinda nonsense to attack Alpha monsters or even a normal Bahamut / Red plains, this applies to Lotus as well.. (Lotus level 80+)
I think you should try to do achievements like kill 25 Cronus under level 100 or try dragons and (serpents) ancient / amethyst 60lvl+ or rather 80lvl+.
Going against Alpha and the rest, is not recommended. You can't do 2,5 million dmg which is I think the minimum for 2 rare 1 epic. It also requires hundreds of stamina or for you even more.. So don't go after high monsters, it's just useless I think.
All is up to you, it was my opinion.
im only lvl 60, and i attack stuff that all my friends summon, i do a min of 2 mil dmg for each monster, when there are people lvl 130 that just do the required amount of dmg and move on, so if u can do more then the minimum amount, and u will keep attacking it till it dies, then why does it even matter what lvl it is
usualy people lvl 60 that are able to do 2mill damage are a stamina build, they can do alot of damage but they are not beneficial to the group though
these people usualy take down the party health by like a million points and don't heal… and everyone else just gets mad that their doing alpha monsters
Yeah i have to agree with you there. if you dont heal at least to the amount it had before, your gonna lessen the damage for anyone else, the only person who gains from that is the person that re-heals it, not only will they get the heal damage, they also get better damage after they healed it. basically anyone healing before or after attack is gonna have more of a chance of better loot, monsters work on activity and seeing as just hitting it is 50% of total activity loot is gonna go to the 100% activity hit n healers.
That is a very basic way of explaining it. it doesnt work exactly as i am explaining it but its along those lines. castle age has changed over the past 6 months, you can no longer come along being a one hit wonder and expect a decent drop. you now have to work for you loot.
For alpha mephisto to get a decent drop you would need to contribute like 6M damage to get a decent drop. If youre low level player and cant contribute at least 2 -3m damage you wont get any good drop and the drops that you'll be getting would probably be the same as the ones youre getting on serpents and dragons. So better give that space up if you cant hit that kind of damage, its a team effort.
hello there……does anybody know the attack and defense by soulforge?
Soulforge -> attack: 35 defense: 35 +1% Crit when Strider, Dragan, Sophia or Penelope is equipped
Alchemy: Excalibur + Hellblade + Hellstone (Need at least level 100 to perform this alchemy.)
My army is only 8, and I solo'd Alpha Memph. Got almost all the items on this list.
Yeah i believe you because i soloed every monster & pvp player in one big battle with a plastic party knife, one hand tied to my foot and a pair of y fronts for my helmet….
lol maybe he thinks mephistopholes is the alpha mephistopholes, i think you'll have to spend more then 1000+ favor points just to kill him on your own. And for your information it's not possible to get every item the boss has there's always a limit to how many rare, repics and legend items you'd get :p other then that this guy must be really confused :)
I usually average around 15M damage on Alpha Meph, and I'm just wondering if that's enough for a chance at one of the legendary drops. Been after a Hellstone for quite a while now and haven't seen it yet, and I'm currently in battle with my 7th.
Valerian Soldiers -19,050,000 dmg
Elven Rangers -22,860,000 dmg
Dwarven Militia -26,670,000 dmg
Archer Allies -30,480,000 dmg
Gray Wizards -34,290,000 dmg
Elven Allies -38,100,000 dmg
Knight Allies -45,720,000 dmg
Paladin Allies -49,530,000 dmg
Silverlight Angels -53,340,000 dmg
idk what was after Angels, had a pic of Dante
dunno, I did only 2 Gehennas so far 1 with 6m and one with bit less than 6. I got 2x tooth and 1 Hephastus? sword and 1 lava plate, orc champion nope.. wasn't really the worth it, but achievement is achievement.. drop is the same with 5m and 6m.
btw, why are credit card players are cocky..? 2nd time I added some1 above level 500, but acted like a supervisor of me.
I'm still a bit curious about the First Question that was asked.
What would be the dmg requierments for the different loot table..
that is :
Epic Summoner's Drop: needs (#mill)dmg aprox to achieve this.
Legendary Drops: needs (#mill)dmg aprox to achieve this.
Epic Chance Drops: needs (#mill)dmg aprox to achieve this.
Rare Chance Drops: needs (#mill)dmg aprox to achieve this.
etc..
I'm homing inn on lvl 200 and dish out decent total dmg on the monsters i battle, but I still wonder how much i need to be able to get
to get on the epic drops ;)
in the same line, Ive been wondering if there's a similarity on the dmg achieved compared to loot type. in percentage% of total HP of a monster.?
if a monster is 1m you would need say 2% to enter the epic loot table?
would this apply the same to say AM(Alpha Mephisto)… this would equal aprox 12mill.. (sounds fair enaugh)…?
maybe something to try out ;)
Buggy, rough data about these values for this and other monsters is collected constantly on various spreadsheets available online. Foremost of these, I believe, is via the following link (which gives the option of joining and then adding your own findings/data, or viewing as a read-only web-site):
http://www.castleageforums.com/cforum/showthread.php?t=33159
This may assist you in proving your fair enough "2% theory", and also get the data to find the dmg (activity) approx. to achieve such and such drops.
Percentages of the likelihood any specific loot is dropped are given. You'll also note the player's damage/activity amount, their current level, the ending position of the player, and the time remaining to kill the monster ALL play a part in what chances of specific loot drop types. (Luck isn't listed). So, it is going to be rough data always. Pretty interesting stuff! :)
